Read the colored text as separate jobs
The skull selection screen places the name, reroll cost, condition, and reward in one small card. Slow down and separate them. A condition that happens after rerolling behaves differently from one checked when a hand is played.
When a skull mentions a hand rank, die value, or reroll state, write that condition beside the hand you intend to use. This prevents an attractive reward from hiding a trigger your build almost never meets.

Build around repeatable activation
A strong early skull is one you can test within the next few hands. If it asks for a pair, straight, high die, or a specific reroll state, choose dice and hand upgrades that make that state visible again.
A skull can be powerful and still be wrong for the current run. Reliability matters more when the threshold is close and there are few hands left.

Keep platform and patch text attached
Dice of Kalma has continued to add skulls and balance changes. The App Store version history and Steam announcements show repeated mode, skull, and bug-fix updates. Do not detach a copied effect from the platform and version where it was read.
If the in-game card disagrees with a guide, follow the card. Send the exact wording and version with a correction instead of assuming one platform is wrong.
