What belongs in a useful skull entry

A name-only list does not help with a build. Record the trigger event, full condition, reward, reroll cost if shown, platform, version, and the date you checked it. Add one practical note describing the hand or reroll pattern that can activate it.

The official store currently advertises more than seventy skulls. That makes completeness a moving target, so the safest list is one that shows exactly what was checked rather than filling gaps from memory.

Official screenshots can confirm names and visible card text, but the current game remains the final check.

Separate seen, unlocked, and tested

Seeing a skull on a choice screen proves that the card appeared. Unlocking it proves availability under that save. Testing it proves the trigger behaved as expected. Those are different levels of evidence.

When building your own compendium, do not mark an effect tested merely because the description sounds clear. Some conditions interact with challenges, upgraded hands, or the order of multiple skull activations.

Update only the changed record

Patch notes may name a specific skull or a broader balance change. When that happens, recheck the affected record and any guide that depends on it. There is no reason to rewrite unrelated skull pages.

The August 2026 mobile version notes, for example, describe a fix to Astronaut activation under a particular challenge. That is a reminder to keep challenge conditions next to the affected skull instead of treating the effect as universally stable.
